As Architects we appreciate commercial reality, as well as good design. We understand the key factors which make developments viable. We also know how buildings work and how people use them. We are also used to working on new building challenges for us and have many Firsts under our belt which have provided us with the means to develop a building, working alongside our Clients to come up with a celebrated result.

Architecture is a creative process; yet equally, it is also a detailed knowledge of building technology, energy efficiency, sustainable solutions and a conscious approach to space planning and interior design.

Our purpose is to ensure that our Clients achieve buildings that are commercially effective and efficient to use, whilst also being pleasing environments in which to live and work.

Our experience ranges from new build developments, off site construction and conversion to the sensitive refurbishment of existing and listed buildings.

In each case, we make it our task to meet Client requirements within the limits of programme and budget. We do this by:-

• Working with Clients to identify needs, and opportunities and establish a solid brief.
• Advising on the best use of buildings and sites
• Advising Clients what they 'need to know' rather than what they 'want to hear'.
• Understanding the increasingly complex and restrictive Planning process
• Securing Planning and Listed Building approvals
• Producing carefully considered technical information, 'attention to detail' counts
• Working closely with Consultants and Specialists, to produce well considered buildings
• Working closely with Building Control and other LA advisers
• Keeping a close eye on the end result.

We are also used to working on projects where Client's programme and budget are impossible to achieve and we need to work with the Design Team to identify what can be achieved for the budget.
