Adrian Taylor BA (hons) Dip Arch RIBA

Senior Architect

Adrian was born in north Staffordshire and is married to a midwife. They now live in Congleton Cheshire in a home which Adrian designed and built.

Adrain studied Architecture at the University of Central England. Hhe became RIBA qualified in 1996.

Adrain joined bpArchitecture in July 2021

Experience

Adrian has experience in Education, Healthcare, Student Accomodation, Industrial, Theatre, Ecclesiastical, and Residential sectors.

History

Adrian worked for Hulme Upright whilst completing his Univeristy studies in Architecture from 1989 to 1996, once qualified he remainded with the practice until 1998, notably completing a new Health Centre and Clinic.

Adrain joined Telford and Wrekin Council from 1998 to 2000 as Architect, Development Manager responsible for a number of Educational projects and Public buldings in Shropshire with a multi -faceted End user and user group engagement to project manage the Council's portfolio of projects.

From 2000 to 2001 Adrain worked for Stoke on Trent City Council in a Develppment Managers role.

Adrian rejoined Hulme Upright from 2001 to 2002 in a Senior Architects role working on residential projects and managing a team of Architects and technologists.

Asrian returned to Telford and Wrekin Council from July 2002 to 2017 within the Councils in house Architectural unit, acting as Principal Architect.

From July 2017 - 2019 Adrain joined Gladman Developments to work on their Care Home portfolio, working on the design and construction of high quality apartments on a range of nationwide sites.

Adrian set up his own small practice in 2019 and works on a number of developments for private clients. .

Interests

Adrain loves the outdoors, walking and camping.

Adrain has also built his own home which he currently lives in with his wife.
